In China, the Mango TV app streams Beyond Wukong on a freemium model: regular viewers follow the broadcast schedule, VIP members get two episodes early and SVIP three. We could not capture a direct listing link, so search 后西游记 inside the app. Hunan TV (broadcast) airs it in the 20:00 prime-time slot, with Mango TV streaming from 18:00 the same day. Both are Mandarin only.

Everywhere else, YouTube is the practical choice. About Beyond Wukong

A millennium after the original pilgrimage, a new stone monkey is born on Flower Fruit Mountain. Sun Xiaosheng trains under the immortal Tongbi Xian, with Granny Qingluo, Taibai Jinxing and Yama among the figures he meets, and his temper soon carries him into the underworld and the courts of heaven. The opening Huaguoshan chapter covers his birth and training; a second pilgrimage is the series' long arc. Beyond Wukong keeps the mischief of the classic while starting from a blank slate.

Season 1 has 30 episodes of about 40 minutes, released in batches: EP1-5 on 31 August 2026 and EP6-10 on 4 October 2026, with the show produced and reviewed episode by episode while on air. Mango TV generated all visuals and performances with Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 through its Mango Lingchuang platform; no live actors appear. The studio is Mango TV / Hunan TV, and the YouTube uploads carry English CC subtitles.

On its debut it took the top rating among provincial satellite channels in its slot, and Mango Super Media's stock hit its daily limit two days running. As of 26 October 2026, EP01 has 527,282 views on YouTube - Mango Animation (芒果TV漫剧) and 158,984 on the English-subtitled upload from Hunan TV's own YouTube channel. Mango TV app plays are not published. The audience is Chinese first, with a growing English-subtitle following; TechNode and 36Kr covered it for international readers.

How to watch Beyond Wukong safely

A prime-time hit with free YouTube episodes should need no download sites, yet they appear anyway, offering all 30 episodes when only ten had aired. Those pages harvest logins or push fake Mango TV APKs. Install Mango TV from the app stores only, never pay a reseller for VIP access, and never type an OTP into a site that promises early episodes of Beyond Wukong. Report re-uploads that strip the Hunan TV credits.

• Install apps only from the Play Store or the App Store, and check that the developer name matches the maker’s website.
• No real source asks for your card details, a one-time code or a “human verification” step before a free episode plays.
